Free Crochet Pattern | Crochet Flower Bookmark with Leftover Yarns

This is an exclusive post in New Craft Works as this project is made by me. 🙂 Sorry for unclear photos as I don’t own a better camera. I captured these images with my good old Samsung Galaxy Y which has a poor 1.3 mega pixel camera. Hope you’ll bear with the images.

I have lots of left over yarns which I used to make a wonderful crochet baby blanket. As I didn’t share any unique tutorials here, I thought I should use some of them and make something for you. Here is a very quick project you can make within under 5 minutes. Oh, I think it just takes about 3 minutes.

DIY Crochet Flower Blanket with Leftover Yarn

It’s really easy to make this bookmark. Here is the tutorial.

Make the slip knot first. Then stitch 2 chains. (1st Step)Then stitch 6 Singe crochet stitches on the 2nd chain from the hook. Slip stitch and close the round. Now you should have a basic round.

Then 3 chains, slip stitch on the next chain. Again 3 chains, sip stitch on the next chain. Repeat the process until you get 6 loops. Slip stitch and close the second round.

Third Round

2 chains, 6 double crochet stitches, 1 single crochet stitch in the loop and connect to other loop with a slip stitch. Repeat the process until you finish all 6 loops. slip knot and you are done with the first flower.

Now crochet chains from the same yarn until you get the desired length of your bookmark. Then make another flower from the last chain hole. Repeat the process from “1st step”.

Now you have a cute little crocheted bookmark to keep your book organised.
